Key Catalyst
Large-scale copper geochemical anomalies defined at surface and supported by historical geophysics highlight the potential for a concealed porphyry copper system. Planned surface work is focused on refining priority targets and advancing the project toward drill target generation.
The 100%-owned Jacha Project is located within the Southern Peru Copper Belt, which produces the majority of Peru’s approximately 2.9 million tonnes of annual copper production. Acquired by staking in 2020, the project hosts anomalous copper geochemistry over approximately 3.0 km by 1.5 km, with historical IP data defining coincident geophysical anomalies.
Next Steps
A soil survey grid is planned with samples collected on a 200 m x 200 m spacing, covering at least 1,000 hectares. Samples are analyzed using a portable XRF instrument to identify copper–zinc–lead anomalies, with selected samples submitted for laboratory ICP analysis. Work is supported by detailed geological mapping and rock chip sampling to further refine priority target areas.
