Ventana project
The Ventana Project is a large-scale, 100%-owned sediment-hosted copper exploration project located within the Salta Rift basin of northwest Argentina. Covering approximately 176,000 hectares, Ventana project has structural and stratigraphic features analogous to some of the world’s most significant sediment-hosted copper districts.
Ventana has been selected as Latin Metals’ lead project to advance regional surface exploration and establish mineral occurrences and targets within an emerging sediment-hosted copper belt in northern Argentina.
NEXT STEPS
In 2026, Latin Metals plans to advance Ventana through a focused surface exploration program aimed at defining partner-ready drill targets.
Planned work includes:
- 500 stream sediment samples collected across the project area
- Identification of anomalous copper-bearing drainage catchments
- Follow-up structural, sedimentary, and geochemical surveys on priority targets
This work is designed to refine drill targets, validate the sediment-hosted copper model, and position Ventana for potential partnership discussions in 2027.
